Mind Your Manners: Nomad Pizza

Pizza is one of our favorite things to eat, whether be it brunch, lunch, dinner, midnight snack, or even breakfast! Luckily enough for us, we have the very delicious Nomad Pizza as neighbors. The good team let us take a closer look at the process that's necessary to create such delicious food! Here is our very first presentation of our series, Mind Your Manners, which strives to show and explain the dedication and passion that one needs to make beautiful, well made, and thoughtful creations!

Nomad Pizza was founded in 2007, when Stalin Bedon and Tom Grim began selling their pizzas out of a vintage 1949 REO Speed Wagon! These guys puts a big emphasis on local ingredients, giving their food a fresh and fulfilling taste. Most of their greens, meats, breads, sauces, cheeses, and etc. are all grown here in Philadelphia, or in New Jersey where the company was originally founded.

The second floor of the 7th Street location opens up to a bar and then to a theatre room that plays movies (they have a movie schedule on their website) like Scream, Unbreakable, and Invincible. This area is perfect for a family outing if you just want to enjoy a great pizza and a great movie!

The Nomad Pizza bar is pretty awesome! The keep a good round of draft beers on tap as the Victory Prima Pils, Left Hand Sawtooth Ale, or the Brooklyn "I Wanna Rye-It". They also have fashionable cocktails as shown in the picture below, apparently its one of the owner's favorite drinks (be sure to ask for that)!
