For Ps & Qs, these friendships have been essential in pushing us creatively – especially in the case of a brand like Only NY, which exemplifies the spirit, grit, and a dedication to timeless aesthetics that has carried our business' success.
With that in mind, Ps & Qs and ONLY NY have come together in the spirit of friendship and collaboration to bring you the Chinatown Bus collection, comprised of a three pocket tees in a limited run of 50 per colorway (white, grey, and green).
Prior to our current digs in South Philadelphia, we were deeply rooted in the city's Chinatown neighborhood, which inspires this release. From the hardworking immigrant restaurateur to the florist who sells flowers daily to passers by, those few city blocks reflect our city's blue collar spirit and the American dream at-large. But perhaps no one Chinatown entity embodies this like the eponymous Chinatown Bus, the quickest, cheapest, and most consistent means of travel between Philly and New York City.
The Authentic Chinatown Bus was around long before Abakus days and still remains consistent with their hustle just like us. We're the same people, same brand, same shop since yesterday for today!
Each tee has a pigment dye pocket on the chest, featuring the classic NY-PHL ticket imagery. A larger version of the graphic appears on the back of the tee, with some Ps & Qs and ONLY NY co-branding for an added touch.
